Australia’s unrepresentative Two Party Preferred (TPP) voting system has dictated that only the LNP or Labor party’s, who only a minority voted for, have governed.

Currently our Federal House of Representatives is controlled by the LNP who only 41.44% of voters wanted. (LNP 41.44% = Sum of: Liberal, Liberal National Party, The Nationals, Country Liberals)

Australia is being governed by a minority LNP government that has majority power. Only 41.44% voted for the LNP, but they control a disproportionate 51% of the seats.

Be aware that only 33.34% of voters wanted the Labor opposition, however they control a disproportionate 45% of the seats.

‘IMAGINE’ believes if the candidate or party can attract 0.67% of the national vote that candidate or party is entitled to represent that 0.67% in the 151 member House of Representatives.
